Seth Westbrook

A native of Randolph, Vermont, Seth graduated from the University of Oregon with a Masters in Architecture.  Prior to his time there, he attended the University of Vermont and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management.  He was also on the UVM Nordic Ski Team, the UVM Lacrosse team, and on the Student Advisory Board for the School of Natural Resources.

Seth’s experience includes working as a carpenter in Oregon, Vermont, and Idaho where he was involved with timber-frame construction, finish carpentry and cabinetry work.  While in Idaho, Seth worked for Living Architecture and was involved with planning a pedestrian-oriented downtown center in Ketchum, Idaho.  He also worked for Ruscitto/Latham/Blanton Architecture in Ketchum and was involved with the Sun Valley Music Pavilion, which is home to the Sun Valley Summer Symphony.

At UK Architects, Seth is responsible for design and production of projects, and serves as an interface with both clients and contractors.  He is very adept in the use of technology to effectively communicate ideas and construction methods.  Seth is a very effective team member and has a clear understanding of the roles of all those involved in a design and construction project.

As an avid outdoor enthusiast, Seth spends his free time mountain biking, skiing, and kayaking.  He is a member of the Vermont Mountain Bike Association and is active in trail planning and building. He also enjoys watercolor painting, blacksmithing, and making furniture.
